“Heads up: Tons of DDOT parking printer kiosks down/out-of-paper”

“Dear PoPville,

I wanted to pass along a word of caution for folks who are scheduled to move to/from/within the District in the coming days. As of last night, 4 of the 5 parking permit kiosks (1, 3-5 Dist.) were down

including the one that’s 3 blocks from my current residence. This morning I called the remaining one west of the river (2nd Dist.), who said things were working last night. The station couldn’t confirm as no one used it this morning, but I gambled and went only to click print and that one is out of paper too. Quickly getting to the point of wtf…

I called DDOT this morning, who is aware of the issue and thought it was resolved yesterday. I was referred to 7th Dist., where things seem to be working. I’ll carve additional time out of my workday to make the 1-hour roundtrip to go print these signs that can’t be printed at home.”
