Every time You Think Jose Andres and World Central Kitchen Can’t Get Any Cooler – They Do Vol. 11 and 12

And from an email: “Reaching out to share some exciting additions to our ThinkFoodGroup pick-up and delivery options.

Bodegas – Starting today we will operate “Bodegas” out of our Beefsteak locations in Foggy Bottom and Dupont, adding an additional one at Jaleo DC on Monday.

These markets are intended to connect the community to staple items such as eggs, milk and flour along with household goods like cleaning solutions, paper towels and hand sanitizer, all of which have become scarce during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Beefsteak Bodega items, which will also include produce and fresh-cut vegetables, will be available for pick-up and delivery through our delivery partners from 11am to 5pm daily. Jaleo DC Bodega items will be available on the Jaleo website, for pick-up and through our delivery partners from 12pm to 8pm daily, beginning on Monday.

All three Bodega locations will also feature a selection of José Andrés Foods products for those in need of a pantry restock on items like Olive Oil, Chips and Olives.

Even more exciting? Starting tomorrow you can pick-up Oyamel margaritas!

Beverage – Beginning on Saturday, April 18th, ThinkFoodGroup restaurants will offer a selection of alcoholic beverages including beer, thoughtful wine pairings and batched signature cocktails, available for pick-up. America Eats Tavern, China Chilcano, Oyamel and all DC-area Jaleo locations will now be a one-stop-shop for lunch, dinner and drinks, allowing guests to limit trips out of the home. Complement your Aeropuerto with a Toronja Chilcano from China Chilcano, or enjoy a Boulevardier with your Pulled Pork Platter from America Eats Tavern. Menus will be available on each restaurant’s website, and beverages can be ordered online or over the phone.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
