Iron Horse Tap Room’s Former General Manager Tapped as new General Manager for Atlas’ Half Street Brewery & Tap Room coming to Navy Yard

1201 Half Street, SE

From a press release:

“Atlas Brew Works announced today that Markus Smith will lead the charge as general manager of the brewery’s second location, opening across from Nationals Park in Capitol Riverfront this spring.

“We are extremely pleased for Markus to join the Atlas team and lead our Half Street Brewery & Tap Room,” said Atlas Brew Works Founder & CEO Justin Cox. “Markus is a consummate industry professional; his experience and hospitality philosophy is an exciting addition to Atlas’ management team. We’re looking forward to him leading the charge to make sure our customers at our new ballpark location have the wonderful local craft beer experience Atlas has come to be known for.”

Markus was an integral part in opening Rocket Bar, a Chinatown staple and home to Washington Capitals and Wizards fans’ pre- and post-game celebrations. He later became general manager of Iron Horse Tap Room, leading team members and overseeing the bar’s heralded craft beer program.

Now, Markus is excited to entertain Washington Nationals and DC United fans at Atlas Brew Works’ forthcoming Half Street location. In this new role, Markus will oversee the brewery’s tap room operations, while maintaining a strong, positive employee culture, focused on growth and development.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
