Big News from the Hilton Brothers: Echo Park coming to former Gaslight Space, Andy’s Pizza coming next door to the spot with the Le Corbusier mural!!

2012 9th Street, NW

From an email:

“Hospitality entrepreneurs Eric and Ian Hilton are partnering with Andy Brown, whose eponymous Andy’s Pizza will find a new home next door to the siblings’ latest venture, Echo Park (2012 9th Street NW) this winter. The new restaurant and bar, which pays homage to the Hiltons’ D.C.-area roots, replaces the former Gaslight Tavern.

Andy’s Pizza (2016 9th Street NW) will serve up New York-style slices in-house and will also offer delivery to the surrounding neighborhood.

Pizza fans will be able to order and eat their pies at Echo Park, where the Andy’s Pizza menu will feature specialty pies handcrafted from the finest ingredients, from 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano to the best melting cheeses Wisconsin has to offer. Brown uses the long dough fermentation technique favored by artisan bread bakers, paired with Old World ovens, to create his signature housemade crust.

From slice shop classics like margherita and white pie with fresh ricotta, to unique blends such as the Diavolo, a spicy take made with pepperoni, Calabrian chilis, caramelized onions and a mozzarella-provolone blend to wings and salads, the abundant menu will have something for everyone in your crowd.

In addition to drool-inducing grub, Echo Park will offer wine, cocktails and beer — domestic and imported — as well as house-made limoncello on draft.

Echo Park and the new Andy’s Pizza — joining the original location at Tysons Galleria — are both set to open on January 2. Echo Park’s hours of operation: Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 2am; Fridays from 5pm to 3am; Saturdays from noon to 3am; Sundays from noon to 2am. Andy’s Pizza hours of operation: Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 2am; Friday and Saturday from noon to 4am; Sundays from noon to 2am.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
