This spring, I moved into a basement apartment for the first time – now that it is the summer, I have been surprised by the massive infestation of flies & other small bugs that convene at my entrance. There is a drain directly below my front door, which may be the source of the problem.
We have tried sticky tape & bug zappers, but it does not seem to alleviate the problem. And, I am wary to pour any chemicals down a city drain.
Do others in the community share this problem? And if so, what is the best advice for getting rid of all the bugs? Thank you for your help!”
