From a press release:

“Taqueria Local announces they will celebrate their One-Year Anniversary by giving away FREE tacos on Monday March 18th, 2019. Customers will receive two free (ground beef, chicken or vegetarian) tacos per person between the hours of 11am-3pm.

Taqueria Local opened last March at 1627 K Street, NW with a mouthwatering menu of locally sourced tacos, burritos and Mexican snacks, as well as a handful of desserts. In addition to its extensive food menu, Taqueria Local also serves a variety of bottled Mexican sodas, margaritas, Mexican beer, and wine.

Taqueria Local marked the initial management venture for Chef Giovanni Orellana, a D.C. food prep veteran from El Salvador with more than 14 years of experience at Ceviche, Lima, Pesce, Posto and presently Executive Chef at Barcode. Orellana’s recipes, full of the highest quality meat, produce and spices culled from local suppliers and small businesses, highlight his long-standing connection to the D.C. metro area.

Owners Antonis Karagounis and Arman Amirshari are passionately dedicated and committed to helping the community as well as enriching the lives and incomes of their employees.
Taqueria Local honored this commitment in the past year by…

• Sharing 1% of its revenue to early childhood education center CentroNía
• Sending unused food to the Sacred Heart Dinner Program
• Paying employees more than minimum wage

Taqueria Local is located at 1627 K Street, NW and is open for lunch and dinner.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
