I’ve been getting antsy about the Chiko opening in Dupont since I’ve seen they’re now hiring and proper signage has gone up. Good news, if all goes well they will open “the first part of February.”

“Year of the Pig Daily Special 2/4 – 2/10

We will be creating a “Year of the Pig Plate” as a daily feature. The pig plate will consist of CHIKO spiced pulled pig, pickles, spicy boiled pork dumplings, and stir-fried rice cakes. Whole pigs will be roasted each day on site.

CHIKO After Dark Series: Friday 2/8 | 9:30 PM – 12 AM
We are excited to welcome back Chef/Owner Kevin Tien and Carlie Steiner from the award-winning Himitsu. Food and drink specials from the Himitsu pair, plus creations from the CHIKO kitchen will be created for this late night celebration. Walk-ins are welcomed and doors open to all on a first come, first serve basis. There will be $8 dishes and drink specials available. This is not a ticketed event.

CHIKO Brunch Saturday 2/9 & Sunday 2/10 | 11 AM & 1:30 PM Seatings
For Saturday brunch, we’ll be welcoming Tim Ma, chef, and owner of Kyirisan and American Son. Javier Fernandez, chef and owner of Kuya Ja will join us for brunch on Sunday. The price is $40 per guest. Price includes a set multi-course menu featuring CHIKO menu items and traditional Chinese New Year dishes. Also special dishes from our guest chefs. The menu will incorporate ingredients that have traditionally been used to symbolize health, longevity, and prosperity for the coming year. Tickets are required for this event. Tickets will be available Monday, January 14th at 11 AM.”
