Your Piney Branch Pot Hole Repair Prayers Answered(ish)!!

Piney Branch Hubcap Smile

From NPS via ALERT DC:

“The National Park Service will close one lane on the Piney Branch Parkway this Friday, April 27 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. The closure is to allow workers to mill and overlay (resurface) about 550 feet of the road with an experimental asphalt, fiber mix. Drivers should watch for workers directing traffic and exercise caution to travel safely through the area. The work may be rescheduled if there is bad weather and may extend in to the weekend.

This work is part of a new project to resurface the rest of the Piney Branch Parkway using traditional, recycled asphalt later in the spring or early summer of 2018.

The work will provide temporary relief for drivers in anticipation of a full rehabilitation of Piney Branch that had already been scheduled in the agency’s five year plan.

This work complements the ongoing rehabilitation of Beach Drive. That road is currently closed for construction between Broad Branch Road NW and Joyce Road NW. The National Park Service now anticipates finishing work there ahead of schedule in summer 2018. We will announce a public meeting soon to share information about how we will complete the rehabilitation of the final segment of Beach Drive between Joyce Road NW and the DC/Maryland border.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
