I wanted to say thank you to the two men who intervened and stood-up for me on my metro commute this morning [Tuesday]. We were on the first train car heading from Chinatown to Farragut North (red line) at around 8:40 and you stopped a very aggressive man from accosting me and yelling at me repeatedly that I was a “f**king b**ch who thinks I’m better than him”. I didn’t get the chance to properly say thank you – so if you are reading this just know you were both so kind and understanding! Thank you and I hope your commute was much less eventful afterwards.”
