Would rather have Frozenyo back than this.

Whoo, makeup lovers rejoice! Really about no longer having to trek all the way to Georgetown. The M Street store is not terribly far (from where I live) but Penn Quarter is MUCH easier to get to!

      ^THIS! SO much easier!!

    • skaballet

+1 totally agree. Also probably a good thing this is not right by my office…

  • FridayGirl

FINALLY. Now I don’t have to trek to Georgetown. I never buy enough to bother ordering online.

    • Clueless

      Haha, jinx (almost!).

My sources tell me that “Sephora is a French chain of cosmetics stores founded in 1969.” Are sources really needed to know what a Sephora is?

    • Michael Pierce

+1, I think they’re in practically every shopping mall these days.

    • Tsar of Truxton

I would have had no clue what a Sephora store sold. I don’t buy makeup as a dude, and I don’t even know the last time I was in a mall (in response to Michael’s comment).

      • divebar311

Sephora sells skin care products for men and women and cologne. Not just a makeup store!

I echo every single comment about not having to go to Georgetown or Pentagon anymore :)

        • Duponter

The men’s cologne section has gone downhill quite a bit in quality in recent years.

Also, they sell makeup for men. Yes, some men wear makeup too. Gender is a social construct.

      • Michael Pierce

Then fair enough, if you live a fairly sheltered existence and have absolutely no contact with people who wear makeup :-)

    • Anon

I think it means “I’m a guy so I can’t admit to knowing what a cosmetics store sells” :-)

YAYYYYY! I do not enjoy choosing between Pentagon City and Georgetown to get to one of these right now.

    • Anon

I hate the Pentagon City mall so much that I’d rather pay for online shipping than go that Sephora, even though I work in Pentagon City.

Finally! I hate going to the Georgetown location.

  • Anon

As a Capitol Hill resident Penn Quarter/Metro Center is my go-to shopping destination so it’s nice to see another great store added to the mix. I’m clueless about makeup but could spend hours browsing the curly hair products.

  • DistrictD

I am so excited for this!

There’s a Sephora in Friendship Heights as well. It’s not as large as the one in Georgetown (never been to the one in Pentagon City) but it’s never too crazy.
