“Any suggestions for a restaurant in Dupont Circle for a holiday luncheon this December? I’m planning for two groups of people.

1 – Small, shy group of 8-10 people, no private room or big to-do needed. Rasika West End has been our go-to the past 2 years, but I’d love to find something new.

2 – Medium, outgoing group of 15 people. I’ll never be able to top last year’s party at Miracle on 7th Street (the true miracle was getting in the door), but if there’s anything hip and new within about 5-10 minutes of Dupont, that would be great.”

For the larger group, I’d highly recommend doing something at the Mansion on O Street. I’ve done holiday parties there for work and it’s very festive and something a bit different.

Emissary! The folks & food are great and the back room/bar is perfect for events.

      +1000 Emissary is great!

Mandu on 18th Street could be nice, if either group will like Korean food. They even have a $14 set lunch special.

You could celebrate the fact that Christmas and Hannukkah overlap this year and have it at DGS…

For the small group – Blue Duck Tavern.
For the medium group – Not sure if there’s anything like Miracle on 7th in the Dupont area. I would suggest something in the Shaw/U Street area again. If they are whiskey drinkers Jack Rose (bottom of Adams Morgan) could be fun.

Mission is a great option for both if you’re okay going a little more casual. They don’t charge for a reserving a space either, which is pretty sweet.
