I really thought there was some sort of puzzle going on there until the end. Notice how the lines on the left mostly make sense without the lines on the right, until you get to the very last word. “…and a fountain in the hence.” So close!

Ah yes, a nice little run. I had many nice dinners there in the 90s—anniversaries, birthdays, New Year’s Eve. All lovely. Best to them.

Many good memories – this was my favorite DC restaurant when I moved here in the mid-90’s. For awhile it was really a cut above the rest of the Adams-Morgan strip. I haven’t been back in several years, but I wish them well.
