“Ace Hardware in glover park finally opened recently after a long delay around the freight elevator.”

Ed. Note: Last week we noted the Adams Morgan location had opened on Columbia Road. So what other neighborhoods need a hardware store?

I hope we can get a hardware store on H St NE. Perhaps at the new development around 8th? The hardware store at 9th and H St NE recently closed down and was sold. Although there is a hardware store on Bladensburg Road NE and Fragers on Pennsylvania Ave, neither of those locations is walking distance (with arms full of hardware product) from most parts along H St NE.

The Brookland Annie’s “officially” opens the first weekend in April! Fun grand opening planned, from what I hear.
