Your Afternoon Animal Fix

by Prince Of Petworth December 9, 2015 at 3:30 pm 11 Comments

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 2 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

Elvis New Smile

“Please meet Elvis, a 12-year-old Shih Tzu (or mix) who came to me from WHS more than 8 years ago. He’s very well known in our neighborhood and loves to be worshipped, as is his due. We live near the Convention Center, in Shaw / Logan East / Mt. Vernon Triangle / Old City”

Adorable group today! Daisy looks so happy to be playing in those leaves.

Leaves are her favorite. Every. Single. Time. We walk though leaves, she has to stop and roll around in them. It’s pretty hilarious.

Elvis I worship at your feet!

    • Elvis’s Mom

That’s just the way he likes it….:-)

I remember Elvis from the WHS website years ago! I wasn’t able to adopt a dog at the time, but I gave money specifically for the little guy. I’m so glad he found a happy home!

    • Elvis’s Mom

Thank you for giving to WHS in Elvis’s “honor”. He has made our home a happy one.

Elvis looks almost exactly like a dog I had in high school! She was a Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix. She unfortunately passed (too young) almost 10 years ago, but she was the sweetest dog and charmed everyone she met. Still miss her–Elvis looks just as sweet!

    • Elvis’s Mom

Thank you for the compliment for Elvis, though I’m sorry to hear about your losing your dog.
