    Finally some authentic local BBQ!

Sorry, I am a snob, holding out for the Ruby Tuesday’s food truck.

  • TropicBird

Park it in front of the Applebee’s.

WTF. The word “handcrafted” needs to be banished, it’s totally meaningless at this point.

  • Yuck

I assume it will have multiple microwaves

  • anonnnn

    “heritage items”

    what does that even mean

Could this be the beginning of the end for the food truck trend? The KFC truck was bad, but a TGIFriday’s truck? Lol

i can’t even handle the big food corp’s getting involved in the food truck business – although i can understand the allure. hopefully they’ll just park near the universities and stay away from my office!

….wait, when IS the one in Columbia Heights suppose to open?

  • tomfiatlux

TGI Friday’s “handcrafted menu” is true Orwellian speak.

    Haters gonna hate

    What’s next – a Chick Fil-A truck?!

    • dc_mike

It’s parked outside the bible museum.

    • Anon

There already IS a Chick Fil-A Truck.

    • SouthernGirl

      And it’s AWESOME!

      • Anonymous

        But no fries!

  • kook47797

They’re going to be able to sell margaritas from a truck? With alcohol?

  • Given the state of many food trucks that have piled on once they became popular, I imagine this will rather ironically, and unfortunately, be better than a vast majority of the current crop.

  • According to the TGI Fridays website, “Handcrafted menu” means they use scissors to cut the paper menus instead of paper cutting machines. Which is actually handcrafted artisinal paper. The menus will also be written in crayon.
