“Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend, meaning late-night riders should pay special attention to last train times.

At 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9, all clocks will be moved ahead one hour. When that happens, it will become 3 a.m. EDT (new time) and the Metrorail system will close.

The last trains of the night will move through stations between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. EST (old time).

Riders get an extra hour of service in November when the time “falls back” from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m.”

Damn it. I hate this clock business. Let’s either leave the time alone or move it 1/2 an hour and never touch it again!

The photo with the plane trails is beautiful. Sometimes I can look up into the sky and count as many as 5 planes at one time. Our skies are very busy.

I hate Congress moved daylight savings time up earlier from April. I wished time stayed the same year round as it did in the 60’s.

I imagine this is more of an internal memo, since Metro has somehow forgotten about Daylight Savings a couple times over the last couple years. 🙂
