[email protected], Formerly Raven Arts, Gallery Opens at 1830 14th St, NW

I was happy to see that [email protected], formerly the Raven Arts Gallery from artist Regina Miele, had opened at 1830 14th St, NW. This was formerly home to L & N Thrift Store. It is located directly across the street from Bar Pilar (who incidentally is is still expanding into the former Raven Arts space.

For those that remember what the L & N Thrift store looked like – you will be blown away by the transformation. Def. worth checking out.

Glad to know new galleries can still open in this city, when it seems so many are being forced to close or pushed out of the city. I hope it does well.

11PM to 7PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday?

Now those are some crazy hours.

What’s the deal with the exterior of this building. Would it kill the owner to slap a little paint on it to benefit the retailers within? I wonder the same thing about the old Rough and Ready space. It looks like Taylor Gourmet is making expensive alterations in their space but the exterior still looks like it is about to fall down. A little maintenance will go a long way.
