Dear PoP – Holiday Giving

“Dear PoP,

My family has decided that instead of giving each other Christmas presents this year, we should use that money to help families in need. I was wondering if you or any of your readers knew of local organizations, churches, or programs that connect donors with families that can’t afford to buy holiday presents. I was hoping that instead
of sending a donation to a large non-profit that I could help out a family locally.”

That’s a great thing your family is doing. Do any readers know of small charities that help out local families?
