Malai Ice Cream coming to 14th and T Street, NW!!

1407 T Street, NW

Folks were understandably bummed when Ice Cream Jubilee closed here back in October of last year. Thanks to Noa and Alisha for sharing some good news about who’s taking over the space:

“Permits/signs are up! Malai will replace Ice Cream Jubilee.”

On their IG Malai wrote: “With eight years of spreading the ice cream love in NYC under our belts, Malai is growing and sharing the sweetness. Let the countdown to SPRING 2024 begin – DC, we’re coming for ya!”

“Malai, figuratively meaning cream of the crop, draws inspiration from South Asian ingredients, aromatic spices, and our founder’s upbringing. Our ice cream is all eggless, handcrafted, and churned with very little air, resulting in purer, more robust flavors, as well as the creamiest textures you can find. Malai’s unique desserts have been giving our customers joy since 2015.”

Check out their flavors here and stay tuned for an opening date.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
