From a press release:

“Hot Hot Hot: Fundraiser for Climate Action

A group of concerned, sustainability-minded individuals are co-hosting a benefit with the Midlands Beer Garden in Park View to combat climate change on Friday, April 28th, from 6-10pm. This event is part of the People’s Climate March “Week of Action”.

Kegs have been generously donated by Anderson Valley Brewing and Uinta Brewing. Any beers from these taps and all other proceeds will benefit Earthjustice, a nonprofit environmental law organization, fighting for action on climate change, environmental justice, and the health of our communities across the country.

In addition to drinking beers for a great cause, attendees will have the opportunity to take action and make their voices heard. The event will include stations for making rally signs for the People’s Climate March on April 29th and writing letters to lawmakers and local representatives.

Hot Hot Hot also will feature a visit and remarks from Earthjustice President, Tripp Van Noppen, and live music from The Kyle Lacy Trio.

Despite the serious mission of combating climate chamge, the goal of the evening is to focus on the fun. “We have a lot of work ahead, to stand for our environment, our communities, and future generations. Tonight, we recharge and toast to the good work Earthjustice is doing for all three.” – says organizer Rachel Abrahams on their vision of the evening.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
