  • Odds are that it was a sex romp gone bad.

    • You don’t have much of a sample pool for that speculation (though yes, last time someone was critically stabbed here it was the result of a botched robbery attempt after the premise of sex). It could have also been the result of:
      – burglary attempt gone wrong
      – heated argument among acquaintances
      – heated argument among unrelated parties
      – sleep-walking accident
      – self-inflicted knifing (accidental)
      – self-inflicted knifing (intentional)
      – alien abduction gone wrong

  • “unit block of Scott Circle”

Does this mean it was The General Scott (1 Scott Circle)? Anyone have confirmation on which building this happened in?

    • It was the General Scott Condominium. I live there.

      • Thanks so much. So do I. Guess I slept through any commotion last night.

        • I also live there and must have slept through the commotion as well. Saw the police cars and “crime scene sciences division” van as I left for work this morning. Scary.

          • I used the side exit this morning and didn’t see anything. Didn’t know anything had happened until this article…

    • The building to the right on 16th st if you are heading North right next to the underpass. Be advised I have seen an increased in suspicious individuals at early morning hours around the area recently as far north as R and 17th and as far south as K and 16th. If you see something say something call 911.

  • Does anyone know which unit it was? I live in the building.
