“With Father’s Day coming up on Sunday, June 19, what better way to celebrate by spending quality time with Dad at a screening of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan? Star Trek has had a profound influence on the entertainment industry and culture alike, making for a unique Father’s Day experience. Part of Smithsonian Theaters’ celebration of 50 years of Star Trek, this event provides the opportunity to view an iconic film in an IMAX theater with a state-of-the-art projection system installed earlier this year.

The screening will take place at the Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater at the National Air and Space Museum at 4:15pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $13.50 for children under 12.

Synopsis: With the assistance of the Enterprise crew, Admiral Kirk must stop an old nemesis, Khan Noonien Singh, from using the life-generating Genesis Device as the ultimate weapon.
