  • ugh so how exactly should I leave the city going to Virginia on Sunday morning

  • Not sure where you’re coming from, but rock creek parkway to either the Roosevelt bridge or the Memorial bridge should work.

  • 295 to 395 to VA. Can get to 295 from various roads. NY Ave, Benning Road, Kenilworth Ave

495 to VA via GA Ave, Colesville Road, Military to Wisconsin, Georgetown, Kst, New Hampshire, Riggs Rd.. Virtually every road leading into MD can get you to 495/295 in some form or fashion

  • Does anyone know where I can find an app or website for these “planned street closures”. I’ve checked DCMPD, DCDOT, 311. DCMPD must know well in advance, as in months, that certain streets for events will be closed and yet I could not find any information on their website. I have friends coming in to visit from Gainesville/Woodbridge, Springfield, VA and it’s difficult to plan anything with “planned street closures” almost every other week for hours on end. Not to mention, Metrorail isn’t much of an option. TY
