“On today’s date at around 12:01AM, two citizens walking northbound in the 900 block of First Street, Northeast, were approached by (2) subjects, (1) of whom attempted to snatch the purse off the citizen’s shoulder. During a struggle for the purse, the citizen was sprayed in the face with mace. The (2) subjects then fled northbound in the block without obtaining the purse.
The responding officers obtained a lookout for the two subjects, and during a canvass, two subjects matching the description provided by the victim and the witness were located a short distance away. Those two subjects were positively identified by the victim, placed under arrest and charged accordingly.”
