From an email:

“I wanted to spread the word about the Petworth Dance Project’s summer performance series in Petworth, and their upcoming July 11 show at the Petworth Rec Center. The organizers provide large blankets for attendees to sit on and the performances are free. The past May and June performances were well attended by young and old alike, with little kids dancing on the lawn copying the dancers (pretty cute). It’s a nice way to spend an hour+ on a warm summer evening, and to hang out with and support the Petworth community.”

The 1st Annual Petworth Dance Project, an outdoor festival in the heart of Petworth DC!

The newly formed Petworth Dance Project, which is an extension of the successful Petworth Jazz Project, launches its first Summer series in Washington, DC, with performances on the second Saturdays of the months May through September. The outdoor dance series is free to the public and features an eclectic set of performances on the lawn of the Petworth Recreation Center located at the corner of 8th and Taylor Street NW. The Petworth Dance Project Summer series features eleven DC area dance companies with styles ranging from Modern, West African, Ballet Folklorico, Contemporary, and more. The Project’s goal is to bring the art and joy of Dance to our neighborhood by introducing the community to a wide range of artists, while creating a new space for thriving DC dance companies to perform.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
