Suspects Sought: Assault with the Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse

“The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with an assault with the intent to commit a sexual offense that occurred in the 4100 block of Massachusetts Ave N.W.

On Saturday, May 2, 2015, at approximately 12:40 am, an adult female was walking in the 4100 block of Massachusetts Ave N.W., where she was approached by the suspect who assaulted her with the intent to commit a sexual offense.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, approximately 25 years of age, medium to dark complexion, short black hair, clean shaven, and last seen wearing a white short-sleeve crew neck t-shirt with a black stripe on the chest area, and dark colored pants.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”

“The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating four suspects in connection with an assault with the intent to commit first degree sexual abuse and robbery offenses that occurred in the 2200 block of 18th Street NW.

On Sunday, May 3, 2015, at approximately 2:50 am, an adult female was walking in the 2200 block of 18th Street NW, where she was approached by four suspects. Two of the suspects assaulted her with the intent to commit a first degree sexual abuse offense. The victim was also robbed during the commission of the assault.

Suspect number one is described as a black male last seen wearing a black and white sweat suit. Suspects two through four are described as black males.”
