  • I have to lol at landlords using the Whole Foods as rental leverage already. It’s literally just a giant pit in the ground. Potential renters are not going to care about that unless they plan on staying really long term.

  • Yeah, but the extremely successful streetcar more than makes up for that.

  • This place must be haunted or next door to a meth lab or something. That is an insanely low price for a 3-br rental, in that location even if not fully updated. Also, Google street view photo shows same For Rent sign in front of it dating back to Aug 2014.

    • Yeah, I live around the corner from it and it has been up for rent for a very long time. The block is a tiny bit more sketchy than surrounding ones, but really nothing out of the ordinary, so not sure why this has been sitting.

Also loling at Whole Foods/Streetcar promotion. When I moved to the area a year and a half ago every CL ad had something along the lines of “amazing streetcar will start any day now!!!111!!!”

Agreed. Yes, eventually there will be an streetcar that not only drives up and down the street, but also allows people to ride it, and a Whole Foods. But why would a tenant care about long-term developments?

  • Seems fishy. Way too low for that area.

  • Would expect this to go for at least $3000.
