    Needs mushrooms!

  • I’m imagining that this proprietor and the owner of Hot N Juicy Crawfish are rival siblings who started in business together and had a falling out.

  • The spelling (Yummi) and the cheap-looking banner and typeface make this look like the kind of establishment you’d find on Georgia Avenue, rather than in Georgetown.
I am irked at Dulcinea and Mama Chuy’s for still having cheap banners up after all this time. Way to make it look like you plan to be around for a while. 🙁

  • I was hoping for a coffeehouse type place to replace Puro (I just went to Killer E.S.P. in Old Town last weekend, I was picturing someplace like that). And since we’re talking about that strip of Wisconsin Ave, I just found this article about the former Georgetown Cafe building: http://www.bizjournals.com/washington/blog/top-shelf/2014/05/georgetown-cafe-building-sold-to-bridal-boutique.html. No offense to brides-to-be, but I’d rather have a coffee or taco place here than look at dresses in the windows.

  • This needs to open as soon as possible. Not only does the menu look amazing, but the prices seem perfectly reasonable for a change!
