  • They have an illegal gas grill on the roof. I hope the Fire Marshall does not see the pictures. : )

  • the first floor of this place was up for sale not long ago, and my wife and I looked at it… was impressed with the place. nice looking deck!

    • Was this building on House Hunters (semi)recently? That red brick with the turret-like structure looks really familiar, and I believe the unit featured was indeed in Mt. Vernon. Did the ground-floor unit come with a little yard?

      • Addendum: Good lord, I think I’ve been watching too much House Hunters…

        • not sure if it was on house hunters… but yeah the first floor place came with part of the little yard (and the bit of a patio towards the back). the only problem with the place was that the two bedrooms were on the basement level (livingroom/etc..) was all on the first floor). still bid on it… and got out bid because the sellers real estate agent told the seller to take the first offer that came in the door. anyway… our escalation clause never kicked in because of that…. otherwise I would be living there now. i would put the blame on the sellers real estate agent… and not the seller.

      • Oh good – I’m not the only one who recognized the building from that episode!

Yep, I immediately thought about HH when I saw this listing.

    • That’s the first thing I thought too. If it isn’t the same house, it’s freakishly similar.

  • Looks like a beautiful apartment from the pictures and makes me sort of want to find a roommate, move here, and rent out my own apartment. I’d get more space and my monthly housing payment would go down by $300.

  • I live across the street from this house – to whomever buys this place, I’ll let you come play in our backyard if you let me sunbathe on your roof deck 🙂 Pics look awesome!
