Dear PoPville,
I’m looking for a recommendation for a good place who does the turkey and fixings for take out on turkey day. We tried Georgia Brown’s last year and it was ok, but I wondered if there were any other recommendations out there. Do the good folks of PoPville have any suggestions?
There are a few recommendations in the forum but I also like the looks of the Hill Country options:
“We’re all about the turkey at HCDC for Thanksgiving. Deadline to place your pre-order for whole pit-smoked turkeys, our traditional sides and homemade desserts is tomorrow. We have full meal packages or order a la carte. Call 202.556.2044 or email Events@HillCountryWDC.com to order today!”
And don’t forget Three Little Pigs as well.

I did Boston Market a couple years ago and I loved it.
Try Scratch DC. A little bit of prep is involved, but they deliver.

Greek Deli on 19th St. They may already have closed orders for next week, but if not, trust me. It’ll be delicious.
I love Hill Country’s sides, but their barbecue has a really fake-tasting liquid smoke flavor to it.
We certainly will be offering a Thanksgiving meal! The spread includes: Apple Cider & Sage Brined Turkey Breast, Rosemary Stuffing, Creamy Redskin Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Root Veggies in a Ginger Dijon Glaze and Pumpkin Cookies!
Everything chopped, measured, marinated, ready to roast and delivered to your door Wednesday evening for just $50!
