That’s a lot of ghost bikes that DPW is going to need to take down!
i think that park is maintained by private folks… it’s just across from Rustik Tavern in Bloomingdale. Maybe Rustik takes care of it?
Yeah, an artist on T street sets up all of those bikes and is constantly changing them during the season.
It’s a memorial to Americans who have died on their bicycles throughout the city. You used to see them chained to light poles or parking meters in the vicinity of the accident, but the city has cracked down on this practice lately.
The heat make me wonder: Does Chinatown Coffee still refuse to serve espresso on ice?
