If you entered H Street, NE from the west you used to be greeted by a liquor store on the south side of the street after crossing the bridge from Union Station. Soon you’ll be greeted by condos from Capital City Real Estate. We’ve looked at some previous Capital City Real Estate projects here.

I don't have a car, so I can't comment on the traffic flow, but it does look great!...
I would love a good coffee shop on this side of the Circle. Soho has pathetic coffee and...
Is this instead of the Harris Teeter that was supposed to be part of the Falkland North...
New job keeping me busy : ) and off PoP :(.
FWIW, I had my radiators reinstalled. I found them on craigslist from people ripping them...
Didn’t there used to be a CaBi station in that parking lot?
The CaBi station is still there. It’s just to the right of the picture.
Congrats, H Street! I think more condos are a good thing, and I’m always happy to see a liquor store get axed.
It depends on the liquor store. If a store changes with the neighborhood and starts carrying something besides malt liquor and singles, then I don’t mind. I drink beer and wine and occasional liquor so I don’t have a problem with liquor stores. I don’t like ghetto liquor stores that have a large vagrant population hanging out.
+1
The CaBi station is still there, and from what I’ve read will stick around.
I wonder how soon they’re breaking ground on this? I used to live around the corner from that on Parker St.
More great news for H Street – especially the west end of it. This neighborhood is going to be huge once these condos are in place and the street cars are running.
I was wondering what was going on there since the store had been closed lately.
Is this the first news of this development? Does it need to go through ANC approval and other BS like other developments have?
