If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool with your pets name and neighborhood. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

“Pippin of H Street, NE enjoys his first Nats game!”

This is my cat, Soot. I call this- “Soot Trippin’ in Dupont.”

Question to residents - thank you in advance. I am considering purchasing a 1st level...
Thank you for this, I had no idea about this type of thing. It also makes me think that...
Disgusting.
It'll take a while. After I moved a block down the road, a friend called me a week before...
*unfriend*
That’s a great shot of the bull dog.
Great pictures!
Pippin is cute but unless he’s a service dog, he is not allowed in the ballpark, right?
The picture was taken at Pups in the Park the weekend before last.
I didn’t realize they had special doggie days, and it appears that they raise $ for the humane society too, very cool!
A lot of people who I told about it didn’t previously know. (And I could see why you would wonder why he was there if you didn’t know!)
It was a fun time, though-we wound up with great weather and all of the dogs seemed to have a great time! I didn’t see any dogs fight-they all played together and seemed well controlled by their owners. It was great to see/be around so many responsible pet owners who knew how to handle their dogs.
And there are three more Pups in the Park events this season: Saturday, 6/2 at 4 PM, Saturday, 7/7 at 4 PM, and Saturday, 9/22 at 1 PM.
Minor league teams do it too. The Potomac Nationals call it “Bark in the Park.”

The Bowie Baysox Bark in the Park is this Sunday.
Thanks for including Pippin!
And I agree, the picture of the bull dog is great.
Soot, you’re gorgeous.
Thank you! He really is.
Love the mystery bulldog. He’s so handsome and his jowels are huge!!!
Thanks for the kind words regarding the bulldog. I spotted him during a happy hour at Veranda a few weeks ago. His name is Diesel, and his owners were pleased to let me photograph him.
