Cafe Carvy will be located in the former Spice Indian Bistro space (next to Rice Bar) at 1020 19th St, NW (just north of K St.) Sounds like it could be a good lunch option for those that work downtown.

I'm a DC resident who drives my car to Lauriol after I sold my condo to one of you...
Hopefully not.
Really? "Reviewing" a CVS? Just patronize another store.
Kid friendly?
There's one in the WW clinic on 14th, and one on 17th Q/R lower level.
Did Pee-Wee Herman name that???
Hopefully with a name like that, it’ll be like philips in its preparation.
Oh no- Spice is closed?!?!
Really hoping this isn’t a full-blown trend of all the vegetarian-friendly places around here closing…first Spice, then Maoz, and Java Green up for sale?
Yeah, but Maoz was like the brick of the falafel world. I just felt gross after every time I ate there, like it was just weighing my stomach down.
Juice Joint, on the other hand, is doubling in size. I can’t wait for them to re-open. I agree we need more healthy options, but Spice Express wasn’t healthy, just carb-heavy and full of saturated fats. I liked it, but couldn’t eat there often because of that.
Ten zillion sandwich shops within a few blocks. Hard to imagine this one stands out.
prediction: this will be wholly mediocre

Looks good. When is it open?
