Hawk n Dove Fans May Want to Look Away

Back in Aug. ’11 we learned that the Hawk n Dove had been sold at 329 Pennsylvania Avenue SE. Even though we’ve had a couple months to digest the news it’s still crazy to see the photo above. Thanks to a reader for sending the photos.

They didn’t sell. The landlord almost tripled their rent and they couldn’t compete with the other company interested in the building. So they lost the lease. It sucks
