The Craigslist ad says:

“Our only Available Studio —Oct 9th, Move In

I’ve always been curious about this building:

Does $1375 sound realistic for this studio?

  • Certainly not central Adams Morgan, maybe not Adams Morgan at all.

  • I used to live here and I warn everyone to stay away. Bedbugs and cockroaches, massive ammounts of cockroaches. Woke up with welts on my face from the bedbugs. Good location, but it is not worth it. WAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced.

Management is responsive, but their actions are like posishing a turd. You can shine it all you want, but it is still a turd. Fresh paint will not fix the massive infestation problems here. BTW, why not embrace Columbia Heights where this is located?

  • Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Central Adams Morgan is definitely west of this location. This is Columbia Heights, I think.

  • $1375 for this is ridiculous. I don’t know how anyone talks themselves into spending that kind of money for a studio apartment when just a little legwork reveals dozens of 1 bedrooms for less than this in the immediate area.

  • This is also just about a block away from that shoot-em-up a week or two ago. How ghettonic is this area?

  • i’ve heard very bad things about this place. i used to live at 15th and euclid and used to see the back of this building and it looked like bad news as well.

  • Hey! For $1375 you get a studio that has: Woot! Nothing! I don’t think so.

  • A friend of mine lived there years ago. He was over run with mice! The only good thing was his small terrace.

  • I live almost directly across the street and pay 1075 for a studio…DEFINITELY not worth it.

  • I paid 850 for a studio at 18th and S NW, which is a much better location and price. So def not worth 1350 for this one.
