  • I guess that means they aren’t planting spring bulbs that need to winter over in the soil, since they haven’t disturbed the grass yet, since they would need to be planting those now. Anyway, why wait for spring – how about some winter-hardy greens, like Kale?

    BTW – plants significantly lower crime stats in a given geographic area… the greater the plant diversity, the greater the effect. Plant diversity also improves scores of psychological well-being – both for funtional people and the institutionalized. You can never have too many plants for happy people.

  • Hello Everyone!
    If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about this project, please come to our community meeting on Thursday, November 5th at the Kennedy Rec Center at 7PM. This project is a partnership with Common Good City Farm, and we plan to design the space with workshops and commuity beds for children and adults in mind. I agree with Lee – You can never have too many plants!! And we would love to stick more plants in soon.
