“To Whomever Stole Our S@*t,
I’m of two minds – on one hand, there is avalanche of poverty and inequity and this is only stuff insurance will cover. Your life is a struggle I will never know.
On the other hand, STOP TAKING THINGS! IT’S SO MEAN! MY WHOLE DAY IS RUINED”

Oof. Thanks to Beth for sending: “Carroll Ave in Takoma DC, right in front of Takoma Central and Yoga District, across the street from Starbucks. I was surprised to see a tire theft on a main street, but this area is very quiet overnight. And these thieves move fast. I spoke with the car’s driver. It’s a rental – she just moved to DC from NYC yesterday.”

“This morning. Another one in Brookland. This picture is from today.
This one between 17th and 18th on Newton St NE. One block from a recent wheel theft and two blocks from where ours happened.
This is getting out of hand.”

Bill reports below: “Behold my car (that had wheel lock on it) first thing this morning. Here in Brookland. The police recommended that I get more surveillance cameras and said that they don’t have enough staff to adequately increase patrolling in our neighborhood. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!
It’s coincidentally my birthday so happy birthday to me.”
