Any fans of Everlasting Life super market and health complex located at 2928 Georgia Ave? Sounds pretty interesting. The sign says it is community owned and not for profit. Do you have to pay a membership fee? How are the prices in general?

“Take these “DC Law. Yield to Pedestrians in Crosswalk” signs along Sherman, New Hampshire, and Georgia. Do you think they pose more of a risk to people trying to cross. I find myself in situations where a car will stop allowing me to cross; however, another behind it swerves around it to get by, almost hitting me in the process. Do these actually hinder or help the situation?”
Whenever I encounter these signs they always scare the hell out of me. Do you think they’re helpful?

And fresh fish painting underneath (note the tiny flying fish as well).

My question is – do people really shave their backs? How is that even physically possible?

I finally found the sign for the new coffee shop coming to 3407 14th Street. Can’t wait to check it out.

God bless the reader who submitted this sign. No commentary could possibly do this sign justice. Simply awesome.

Coming to 1654 Columbia Road to be exact. I’m not to familiar with Shawarma King but as I love shawarma I’m pretty excited about this. Since we’re on the topic, where can you get a good shawarma in the city?

I love these “Dental Surgeon” signs on regular rowhouses. I think Looking Glass Lounge or Wonderland just scored one of these.

This park in Columbia Heights makes me very sad. For I’ll say it, it is sketchy. I wonder if it would be so sketchy if it had a beautiful lawn and was well cared for. I feel like this is something we should rally around. Let me know if you want me to start a campaign of some sort to improve the quality of this park. It is pretty beat, yeah?
Even the sign is ganked…

Wow, pizza box recycling, that’s awesome. I hope they don’t just take the boxes and put new slices of pizza in them. Ha, ha, I’m idiot but I told I’ve drunk quite a few Budweisers at this point… Seriously that is pretty cool that they recycle. Cue pizza wars in 3, 2, 1 go!
