I was walking the Metropolitan Branch Trail Saturday, July 8 around 2:00 p.m. and he was out for a run (seriously, what were we thinking going any distance during that heat apex?).
I caught up with him momentarily when he slowed his pace for a wardrobe adjustment, kind of near the Lost Generation Brewing marker.
I thought to say something when we passed, but he resumed running before I could gather the courage to say anything.
He was in gray shorts, white crew socks, and a blue shirt (which was eventually removed, thus allowing me to catch up at that one point!). I was in dressy black and white shorts/skirt and a black tank top with long brown hair (which I was desperately trying to remove from my sweaty shoulders).
