“My dog, Charlotte, slipped her leash with the dog sitter last night. She was last seen at 10th ne btwn c and d. A dog tracker was brought out and had her scents at our door last night and today at 9th and a Ne.
Any help to get the word out would be appreciated. she’s apparently sticking close to home.

He is about 35lbs, his name is Ein, he is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, he has tan and white markings. He is a very friendly dog. If anyone has seen him please call me 703-861-2916. There will be a reward if he is safely returned to me.”

“Lost Yorkshire Terrier on Capitol Hill between A and 3rd NE and East Capitol. He was seen heading towards Lincoln Park. The fur on his head is golden brown and his body is gray/silver. He is a larger Yorkie (around 10-15 lbs). He is a very sweet rescue dog, and the tag on his collar has the number R14-0768. His name is Sigmund, but he doesn’t really answer to his name.”

“Dear PoPville,
Some friends found this dog near the Harris Teeter around 17th & Kalorama last night (4/2/14). We gave her a bath and cut off the biggest clumps of matted hair – it’s possible she’s been on her own for a few weeks. Right now she’s staying with another little dog who seems OK with the intrusion.
She’s really a sweet dog, confident and happy, but also grateful for attention. She probably 10 pounds, and the woman from the Humane Society said she’s probably 3 or 4 years old, and generally healthy. She’s quite alert and very friendly.
A stranger said she looks like a Morkie (Maltese / Yorkie).

“We saw this dog at about 7:30 am at Spring and Rock Creek Church Rd NW. It was pretty shy and not wearing a collar, and it took off down Rock Creek Church Rd NW.”
The owner sends word:
“Our dog bolted without his collar this morning and we lost him around Meridian Pint this morning. His name is Jimbo- He’s black, white, and tan with a tan face and white legs with little tan freckles. He’s about 30lbs. he may come if you call him in a high voice, crouch and seem like you have a treat. He might just hide (if you spot him please call 202-503-8604).”

“I found a dog this morning at 4th and R NW. She’s very sweet and seems to be someone’s dog who has been lost for a few days. She didn’t have a collar or microchip. She’s currently at Washington Humane Society on NY Ave.”
