“Dear PoPville,

Other than McDonald’s, is there anywhere in DC that sells good old fashion, chocolate/vanilla twist soft serve? The ice cream stand at Union Market used to, but sadly, they don’t anymore. I’m a northeast girl who just loves her a soft serve in a cone on a hot day, and it is one thing DC’s ice cream scene is sorely lacking. Any tips on where to find some would be appreciated.”

“Van Leeuwen, the beloved brand known for its made-from-scratch dairy and vegan ice creams, is thrilled to announce its third D.C. location––located in the city’s Adams Morgan neighborhood at 2421 18th St NW––will open on Wednesday, May 24th at noon.
