I wanted to reach out, as it’s baby squirrel season and we just found one that had fallen out of a tree (such a windy day!).
I called DC City Wildlife and they let me know that typically you should leave baby squirrels where they are found, as their mothers will usually come pick them up, (more…)

A reader sends from the 3700 block of Reno Road, NW near Rodman Street. It’s hard to tell from the photo but there are reportedly three of them. I’m told they seem peaceful (unlike their crazy cousins. However, if you are a chicken owner in Cleveland Park (or the nearby area, wait can chickens fly? wherever you are) – please check on your chickens.
