Been getting tons of messages over the weekend and this one pretty much sums it up:

Power went out in Capitol Hill for the fourth time in a week. What’s going on??”

Last message I saw from AlertDC said: “PEPCO crews continue to work on restoring power to the affected customers in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The estimated restoration time is 9AM.”

“Dear PoPville,

The house my husband and I rent changed ownership, and property management, a couple months ago. We came home from work yesterday to find our water shut off. We’ve since learned from the new property manager that the prior owner/property manager hadn’t paid (or transitioned) the water bill for many, many months. “Dear PoPville,

RCN internet and cable have been down across many parts of the District since at least midday yesterday. “Dear PoPville,

Several neighbors (and possibly others) received certified letters this weekend saying that AT&T was planning on putting a 5G light pole on our block–I imagine people throughout the city are receiving letters like this, unless ours is the only pole (at 16th and T Streets NW). They included drawings and some information, (more…)
