I can now add a pear tree to the collection. This one was wicked hard to spot. For those keeping track at home that makes a peach tree, apricot tree, apple tree and now a pear tree. You’d think we’re living in sunny California or something. I hope someone’s making some nice pies.

An apricot tree! I saw the owner with a bucket harvesting some of the fruit. Super cool.

I’m sorry I thought this was an odd and hilarious sight. I mean there were like 10 or 12 tree stumps here in a really odd pattern. Maybe they could paint them and have some wild modern art, yeah? I think I saw some clubbed seals in the backyard but I couldn’t get a good photo…

I was originally drawn to the spiral staircase but when I saw the tree sticking out up top I realized that must be a sick roofdeck. So let me ask again if anyone has a roof deck send me some pictures to princeofpetworth (at) gmail (dot) com or invite me over and I’ll take some photos. Share the wealth!

Thanks to Herb of DC for sending this unbelievably awesome tree box. I’ve always said it’s all about layers. And boxes…I’ve always said it’s all about boxes upon boxes. Very nice.

I’ve recently been noticing how folks have been taking ownership and fixing up their tree boxes. This one is sweet. I normally don’t like the rocks but I think it works here in a sort of Japanese zen garden way. Do you think it works?
