“A PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while on approach to Runway 33 at Reagan Washington National Airport around 9 p.m. local time. PSA was operating as Flight 5342 for American Airlines. It departed from Wichita, Kansas. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation.” (more…)

Two French Air Force Rafales from the renowned Lafayette Squadron will perform a flyover of the National Mall in Washington, DC, on October 19th. This commemorative flyover marks the 200th anniversary of General Marquis de Lafayette’s Farewell Tour of America, symbolizing the lasting alliance between the two nations.

The flyover will feature the Rafales approaching from the east, executing a single pass from East to West just south of the National Mall. The flyover is scheduled to begin at 11:15 AM, (more…)
