I really support the mission of this group so no disrespect intended but if you put up a big new sign like that then those attending are not really all that anonimos. I’m just saying…
Thanks to Pat for sharing the old sign:

This is the new clothing store that opened up at 832 Shepherd Street. I give much respect for new stores that invest in a proper sign. I think it shows a real commitment to the neighborhood. And damn that’s a sweet quote up top:
“Styles in Fashion Be Flyy”
Can’t argue with that.

Mmm, Super Tacos.

I was wondering why people were looking at me with such contempt when I was singing/screaming some Shooter Jennings tunes around here.

Himalayan Heritage has opened in the old San Marco spot on 2305 18th Street in Adams Morgan. The inside looks fantastic. They’ve imported painting and crafts from Nepal which look terrific.

You can check out their menu here. And they have delivery within a 2 mile radius! Nice.
I’m also intrigued by the fact that they have a Sunday brunch. I’ve never had a Himalayan brunch before…
Anyone check them out yet?

Props to them for some sweet signage as well.

Yeah, I got a job for you. Why don’t you start by picking up all the fracking junky signs you’ve placed all over my neighborhood. That’d be a good start.

I thought this was an odd sign since I received an open house flier for this property:

This sign was taken near yesterday’s ridiculously cool carriage house. I forgot to mention that these carriage houses are in a really nice alley called Naylor Court in Shaw.

This was interesting protest sign. Not sure it’s helping that much if it is dated June 2007. So I guess now’s a good time to ask who’s the best company to use for homeowners or renters insurance? Has anyone ever had to claim their insurance? When my water pipe burst my insurance (All State) told me it wasn’t worth it to make a claim because the damage wasn’t that extensive. Hopefully you haven’t had to but if you have had to use a claim – how was your experience?
