Sadly this one is super faded but you can tell it was surely brilliant when new. It’s located on 14th Street just north of T.

This may look rather ordinary but I’m a huge fan of these old liquor signs. You can see it looks like there were originally some lightbulbs meant to illuminate the sign. It’d be sweet if they were able to refurbish it. You’ll see these all over DC but this one was found on Mt. Pleasant Street.

Georgia Ave really has a wealth of amazing city signs. Sadly, I believe Goins is no longer open. Did anyone ever have the opportunity to eat there?

I have to say it – this one is dope sky. So simple yet so cool.

Looks like this sign from Georgia Ave. near Howard University may be on it’s way out. It is a pretty fresh sign though, yeah?

‘Tis a classic.
If you have any signs you’d like to see added to this series please send me an email at [email protected]

Remember what it used to look like?

I think they made the right decision, you?

This is by far the coolest sign for a church I’ve ever seen.
