Dear PoPville,
Since last month I have noticed two spelling errors on DC Parking Enforcement vehicles. Both occurrences show the last word spelled as “Enforcememt.” I submitted the first one (on a Honda Civic Hybrid) to [email protected] and received no response. I saw the second one (on a Chevy Colorado) yesterday afternoon.

What do you think of the new banners on 18th Street, NW and Columbia Road?
How do you think they compare to the new NoMa banners we looked at in April?
Do you think banners are still a good marketing tool in 2012?

Thanks to a reader for sending from the Navy Yard metro. Brilliant!

I always do a double take when I pass this one because it’s in such a residential area near H Street, NE and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a neon funeral home sign anywhere else.

Another reader spots the sign above at the corner of 13th and Park in Columbia Heights.

And I spotted the one above in Shaw.

A reader sends in from 13th and T St, NW.

Earlier in the week we admired some old school neon liquor store signs. This is the first Flamenco show sign I’ve seen… Anyone recognize where it’s from?
