“Dear PoPville,

Last summer you highlighted the opening of Bluebell Spa at 14th and Spring. I finally went – and it’s amazing. One of the best massages I’ve had in years and completely adorable and cozy inside. TuSuva fans will find the experience very comparable. They now offer massage, facial and skincare, and waxing. Appointments are easy to make online. Highly recommended!!!”

“Dear PoPville,

Soup Up is delicious and healthy and the owner was so nice. Donna started off Union Market and makes a few special soups a day. She left my friend and I try all of them and we got chili fiesta, and delicious accident. It’s right by ANXO and decorated to be light and airy. She makes tea and is planing to have juices and a brunch in the coming weeks.

I will definitely be back and you should check it out too! Kennedy street is looking great!”

Quincy and New Hampshire Ave, NW

Holy smokes. I don’t know if it’s because I used to walk by this empty lot for 12+ years but seeing a new building going up here blew my mind. Indulge me. Holy smokes.

Thanks to Matt for passing on from Qualia:

“Just want to update everyone on the status of the arrest warrant that resulted from our staff having water spit on them last month by Jonathan Hedgpeth, who apparently has a history of harassing service workers and women in particular.

As of yesterday, we heard that the arrest warrant has been signed and once the police know his location, they will serve it. If anyone sees him, the absolute best thing you can do is call the police and let them know where you saw him. Please, please do not interact with him yourselves.

Thank again to everyone who sent their support and provided us with the information we requested.”
